Description

Accidentally selling a valuable item to an NPC can cost a player hours of progress. The NPC Buyback System gives players a limited opportunity to recover items sold by mistake without changing the familiar Metin2 shop experience.

Each NPC keeps a separate sales history. An item sold to the weapon dealer appears only in that dealer’s Buy Back section, while an item sold to the armor dealer can only be recovered from the armor dealer. This keeps every NPC’s records organized and prevents different shop histories from being mixed together.

The item’s bonuses, stones, sockets and existing properties are preserved. Players can repurchase the item within 24 hours by paying the configured buyback price. When the list reaches its capacity, the oldest record is removed automatically. Expired records are also cleared to prevent unnecessary data accumulation.

Critical checks are handled on the server side. The transaction is rejected if the player does not have enough Yang, has no suitable inventory space, or attempts to recover an invalid or expired record. The entire system is define-controlled and can be disabled cleanly when required.

NPC Buyback System is a practical, player-friendly feature that protects valuable progress while remaining faithful to Metin2’s original shop structure.
